On Sunday, May 25th, the Beach Blast team took part in the inspiring event “La città da giocare – Diritti al gioco” in the city of Fano, kindly hosted by the Club Nautico Fanese.
This community-centered initiative transformed the city into a playful, inclusive space where children, young people, and families could explore, express themselves, and enjoy a wide range of engaging activities. Among these, our rowing machine challenges were a hit, drawing smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition from participants of all ages.
Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to present the Beach Blast Erasmus+ project, aimed at promoting inclusive outdoor sports, encouraging young people to lead active lifestyles, and using sport as a tool for social connection and well-being. Our presence highlighted the power of open-air physical activity not only to foster physical health, but also to build community, confidence, and cooperation.
Events like this one perfectly reflect the values behind Beach Blast: accessibility, participation, and inclusion through sport, especially in outdoor and beach settings.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so energetic and meaningful. Special thanks to our hosts and to all the families who stopped by to learn, play, and share the spirit of Beach Blast with us!
